About Professor Godwin Isitor
The author and programmer of the CompuHistology Interactive software / DVD set is Prof. Godwin Isitor (DVM, MS, PhD.). He has, for the past 25 years, been involved in the teaching of histology for the undergraduate curriculum. Within the past 12 years, he has also been involved in the teaching program of histology to medical, veterinary and dental students at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad, W.I. Through the assistance and contribution of renowned histologists in various North American Universities, the author has been able to accomplish the product over a period of six years. He has, in the past, employed ultrastructural techniques in his research methodology. His current research focus is based on the application of digital imaging and texture analytical techniques to diagnostic cytology and radiography.
